Primarily coaching works and adds value because it supports and enables learning in context and often “on the job”. The greater value of coaching is that it is based upon the individual and builds upon their performance and capabilities. Learning is therefore bespoke to individual needs in the context of their role and their performance. It also uses the coachee’s own desire and commitment to change. What could be more powerful?
